The project "Digital Tool for intellectual disabilities and dementia: Professionalisation, Resilience, Outstanding care” started with a successful kick-off meeting on 4 and 5 December at the University of Graz. Project partners from the Netherlands (Alliade), Greece (ESTIA), Croatia (SAVEZ OSIT) and Italy (EUTHRIVE) discussed the project vision, the expected results and the roadmap for the coming months.
Together, over two intensive and productive days, the foundations were laid for the successful implementation of the project. All partners presented valuable insights and initial input on the expected project results: the Caregiver Toolkit, the Caregiver Handbook and the planned training programme. The individual steps in the work packages were specified in a participatory and collaborative approach.
In addition to the content-related work, the meeting also provided space for social activities to strengthen exchange and get to know each other. These included a city tour ‘Discover Graz’, a campus tour at the University of Graz, a joint visit to the Graz Christmas market and a traditional Austrian dinner. These activities contributed significantly to an open, appreciative and motivating atmosphere.
The kick-off meeting was an important step towards strengthening cooperation within the consortium. The positive atmosphere gives hope for successful cooperation and exciting project progress in the coming years.
Further updates will follow shortly as we enter the next phase of the project!
