Dear friends interested in inclusion,
We would like to draw your attention to our lecture series in the winter semester 2025/26, organised by the Centre for Empirical Inclusion Research (CERI) in Graz:
This lecture series is dedicated to the topic of inclusion from an interdisciplinary and international perspective and highlights key principles, areas of tension and developments across the entire lifespan – from early childhood through school and extracurricular education to the world of work, housing and old age. Inclusion is examined as a central social and educational policy concern from a global and lifespan-oriented perspective.
The aim of the lecture series is to reflect on and discuss fundamental concepts, international developments, areas of tension and encouraging practical examples of inclusive education.
Each unit comprises two short lectures by renowned international experts and an interactive part in which the content is explored in greater depth through discussions, transfer questions or interactive exercises. The lecture series takes place in a hybrid format: You can join us online or come to Merangasse 70, 8010 Graz, on the ground floor in room 33.0.010. Each unit will also be streamed and recorded.
Here you will find the programme for this semester, which also includes an access link.
If you have any questions about accessibility in connection with the lectures please contact heidi.kinast@uni-graz.at.
Kind regards,
Barbara Gasteiger-Klicpera, Franziska Reitegger und Lisa Paleczek
